月曜は英会話の日

今日の英会話はかなりヘビーでした。それは、文化の違いといいますか、英語圏、特にイギリスの影響の強い国の方は僕達と考え方の根本が違うと感じました。オギー先生はまさにそうです。本当にいい人で大好きなのですが、ちょっとした事で話がかみ合わない、討論好きと言いましょうか、僕とターちゃんにはやはりしんどいです。今回もダイエットの仕方について僕の意見を言いますと、それは違うと言い張り
世界のスタンダードはこうだと言い張ります。でも、僕は現実に無理なく５ヶ月で１２キロやせたんです。
と言っても聞かない、それに茄子をエッグプラントと言いますと、それは米英語だといいイギリス英語は
こうだといいます。聞いた事もない単語でこちらの方が綺麗とまで言います。何か悔しくてむきになって、そうじゃないよ、もっと柔軟にかんがえたら、と言ったんです。そしたら、そんなに興奮するな、ちゃんと英語がうまく使えているじゃないですか、と返してきたのです。おっ、そう知らない間に結構英語で話をしているじゃないですか、そんな自分に驚きました。オギー先生ありがとう。シェフ
